National Doctors Day

On National Doctors Day, we would like to recognize the professional commitment of the many fellows who visited Penumbra’s headquarters for specialty training earlier this month. Fellows dedicate countless hours to acquiring cutting-edge disease-state and technology knowledge to provide the best possible care. Sharing our passion for innovation to help as many people as we can, we are honored to have the opportunity to help advance care with such dedicated physicians.

Our recent Neuro Fellows Course was particularly noteworthy because it was our first in-person training since early 2020. Everyone was excited to be among peers and immerse themselves in a setting that offered expert instruction and hands-on experience with Penumbra’s latest technologies.

As part of the curriculum, participants rotated through didactic and interactive sessions that focused on advanced access, embolization, and stroke intervention techniques. Fellows trained on our advanced product portfolio using specialty, best-in-class models designed to provide near-to-real-life simulations of challenging anatomy.

Finally, we want to thank the distinguished faculty physicians for their involvement in this inspired effort. In addition to world-class instruction, faculty shared invaluable lessons learned over the course of their respective careers.
